"A Catie Curtis Christmas" Coming Soon...

ccurtis 3856
BIO: Catie Curtis delivers some of the finest material of her career in Stretch Limousine on Fire, ten original songs that push at her own musical boundaries and explore "the difficult edges of passing events" in life.  Produced by Lorne Entress, the new recording is spirited, unique, and a vivid portrayal of universal life experiences, wrapped in the same brand of evocative songwriting that won Curtis (with co-writer Mark Erelli) the Grand Prize in the 2006 International Songwriting Competition.  The sound, like the subject matter, is rawer than Curtis' previous work, which has been featured on episodes of Grey's Anatomy, Dawson's Creek and several other hit shows.  Since the release of her last album in 2009, Curtis has toured extensively throughout the US, including shows at the White House in 2010 and 2011.

MUSIC:  A HOLIDAY CD!

In just a few weeks, my new CD “A Catie Curtis Christmas," with Elana Arian, Ingrid Graudins and John Jennings will be available!   “Like” my fan page on Facebook and you’ll be the first to know when it’s officially on sale.  The recording features holiday classics done Catie style with a lot of help from my friends.

VOICES UNITED CONCERTS
Thanks to all the generous folks who hosted and performed at concerts to support Americans United for Separation of Church and State last weekend. I am touched by all the work that folks did around the country to pull off these events.    We're still getting reports from the hosts who say that people had a fantastic time connecting around their shared passions for music and the issue of church-state separation.  And I really enjoyed performing alongside Mary Gauthier, Russell Brand and Sarah Silverman (who is my new hero) at the show in Los Angeles!

See you out there, people!
