Nearly April News

Some people might suspect that I am not touring this weekend simply to be home for the final weekend of March Madness.  I love college basketball, I do.  But it's the idea college basketball that I love more.  The scene, the drama behind the scene.  Last year we went to the Women's Final Four in Boston and spent the entire Maryland-Duke game chatting with interesting people we just met.  I played college basketball, and I like to pretend I know what it's like to be out there with a national championship on the line, but sometimes it's hard to actually watch the game.

Anyway, next weekend I play in Marblehead.  This gig is at an old New England UU church in a seriously quaint town, along the rocky north shore of Massachusetts.  Definite vacation potential there if you want to make a weekend of it.  Then I head out to the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Virginia and NYC before finishing up the month back in Massachusetts at the Natick Center for the Arts.

What am I playing these days, you might ask.  Usually it's the latest couple songs just written, one or two odd covers and your old favorites.  The energy you bring to the show is the wildcard.

So see ya,
Catie
