Catie Curtis

East Coast, Montana, Mexico, Binghamton, Recording

Once in awhile my tour dates do seem a little random, even to me. The coming weeks bring shows in New Hampshire (Earth Day event with Cliff Eberhardt and Vance Gilbert, sponsored by NHPR), Pennsylvania (w/special guest Meg Hutchinson) and NJ (w/special guest Lucy Roche), Montana and Mexico, Binghamton and Pawling NY, Cambridge, MA and the mid-Atlantic states of MD and VA. Any run of shows with Cancun in the middle is good with me. See more info on tour dates under GIGS section of this site.

I just returned from Nashville, where Garry West (producer), Erick Jaskowiak (engineer) and I put the finishing touches on my new CD, "Sweet Life" My talented friend Ingrid Graudins came in to sing more harmonies—delicious! Final mixes are just around the corner. Photographer Tony Baker (link is to photographer website, not to my cover photo) shot my cover photo… yes I am returning to putting myself on the cover after a two-CD hiatus. "Sweet Life" will be released on August 26th.

P.S. Jen Silacci, who helps me with link , is climbing Mt. Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the Genocide Intervention Network, specifically toward the protection of civilians in Darfur. If you've considered donating to this cause, here's your chance! Go to link and scroll down the page to where you can donate online.
