The Vote and The Tour (NE, Southeast and Mid-West)
From the capital city that brought you Mitt Romney, here's a chance to influence what happens in Boston=2E I know there are more important issues to jump in to (http://www=2Emoveon=2Eorg, http://www=2Ethebreastcancersite=2Ecom, http://www=2Ecatfancymagazine=2Ecom) but if all this leaves you with a thirst for more, I have been nominated for a Boston Music Award, and online voting ends tonight at midnight! To participate, go to the ballot and scroll to the category "Outstanding Folk Act=2E" Vote early and often, at least once for each worthy artist: http://contest=2Egoombah=2Ecom/bostonmusicawards07/
I'm winding up my 2007 schedule with a few northeast dates: Coffee with Conscience in Westfield, New Jersey (in the middle between NYC and Philly) on Saturday November 17th; Club Passim in Cambridge, MA on December 9 (4 PM show, Kevin Barry joins me on guitar)=2E Also, in mid-December, I'll be at the Towne Crier in Pawling, NY, and at Ben Wisch's hOMe Yoga Experience Concert Series in Mahwah, NJ=2E The final gig of the year will be in Cleveland on 12/23, at the Beachland Ballroom=2E Lots of shows have been added to the early 2008 tour schedule, in the Northeast, Southeast, and Mid-west US (sorry UK! I'll get there again someday, I promise) Kevin Barry will back me up at the Iron Horse and the Stone Church, so don't miss those special shows=2E Check out the GIGS section of this site for more details=2E
I'm writing the final few songs for my new CD, which I plan to record in Nashville, Tennessee this winter with hopes of an August 2008 release=2E
See you out there,
Catie
