I'm so excited, counting down the last few days before the release of Sweet Life on 9/9/08. To check out some of the new tracks and even pre-order the CD, go directly to Compass Records. On Tuesday the 9th, you'll be able to download Sweet Life via itunes and many other fine internet locales.



The big CD release show to kick off the tour will be the night before the official release date, in NYC on Monday 9/8 at Joe's Pub.  This is sure to be a big night, featuring amazing accompanists Kevin Barry on guitar and Elana Arian on fiddle and vocals.  Also, you can tune in to WFUV (on-air or online) at 10:30 AM on Monday to hear a few songs and conversation about the new CD.



If you're in the Massachusetts or Rhode Island area, come to the Narrows Arts Center in Fall River tonight, Friday the 5th, for early access to the new CD and a sneak preview of the Sweet Life tour!  



Coming on Tuesday:  the Sweet Life video contest !   Compass Records will be making the song "Sweet Life" available for free download to you who want to create a video or slide show of YOUR sweet life.  There will be winners, and there will be prizes, including a guitar and a flip mino camcorder.  The winning video will appear in PasteMagazine.com, CurveMagazine.com and on Catie's website.  Come on, let me see your sweet life!
