People Look Around

"People Look Around," a new song I co-wrote with Mark Erelli, is now available for streaming and download on https://catiecurtis.com https://catiecurtis.com , on the music page.  It's a post-Katrina song that I've been playing live and audiences have been asking for.  So I went in the studio last week and, check it out, instant gratification has arrived at www.catiecurtis.com.

I'm heading out this weekend to play two shows in Vermont and one at the Iron Horse in Northampton, MA (Jimmy Ryan will join me in Noho on the mandolin-- just like old times!)  Then I'll be in the Southwest for a few dates in November.

Two of my songs have been picked up for use in the soundtrack of an independent movie being released this week called "Three of Hearts." The trailer is at http://www.threeofheartsfilm.com http://www.threeofheartsfilm.com .

I also wanted to mention that anyone wanting to donate to help flood and mudslide victims in Guatemala can do so through Oxfam America's online site: https://secure.ga3.org/02/gl_emerg https://secure.ga3.org/02/gl_emerg .  My daughters were born in Central America, and I know a lot of you care about that part of the world as well.

Hope to see you soon,

Catie
