Hi Friends,
I just got back from playing the New Bedford Folk Festival (see photo) and had the time of my life playing music again with old friends Susan Werner, Cheryl Wheeler, Garnet Rogers and John Gorka (pictured L-R). How amazing that we can gather again. It was also inspiring to hear Peter Mulvey, Grace Morrison, Abby Gardner, Crys Matthews and lots of other wonderful artists at the festival.
I have some in-person shows coming up! I'd love to see you.
7/22 Ground Floor Freeport (ME) with Maia Sharp
7/23 TCAN Natick (MA) with Maia Sharp
7/24 Frenchtown Bookshop (NJ) SOLD OUT
9/18 Jonathan's in Ogunquit, ME with Mark Erelli
I also wanted to let you know that a couple weeks ago, after a four-year journey, I officially became a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT)! I'm starting a private practice based in Newton, MA. I use the surname Hunter (Catie Hunter) as a therapist, just to keep things a bit separate. Hunter is a family name, and originally my middle name. I had been working in community mental health for three years before branching off on my own this summer. My hope is to balance the clinical work, which I love, with playing music, which I also love!
I hope that you and yours are well, despite all the difficult things going on in the world.
Take good care,
Catie
