halloween

At this moment I am watching my 3 year old, dressed as "Tyron" from the Backyardigans, and I am loving Halloween in a way I thought only a child (or a drag queen in the Castro) could.   And our five year old is Wonder Woman.  Happy Halloween, people.

I have been nominated for a Boston Music Award, and online voting has begun!  To participate go to the ballot, and scroll to the category "Outstanding Folk Act."

I've got a nice long weekend coming up in Utah and SW Colorado.  I'll spend three days at the Moab Folk Festival, and one night in Mancos, Colorado.  For the rest of 2007 I will be mostly off the road, writing and preparing to go in the studio in February to record a new CD.  I'm gonna play just a few northeast dates:  Coffee with Conscience in Westfield, New Jersey and an afternoon show at Club Passim in Cambridge, MA (Jimmy Tingle's in Somerville is closing, so my December 9th show there is canceled and I've moved it to Club Passim at 4 PM on the same day.) Also, in mid-December, I'll be at the Towne Crier in Pawling, NY, and at Ben Wisch's hOMe Yoga Experience Concert Series in Mahwah, NJ.

And one last thing, if you are an Ellen fan, scroll through the 6 luminaries from Maine on Ellen's new AOL website to find none other than Ms. Me, following the likes of Patrick Dempsey (Dr. McDreamy).  link

Cheers
