Comin' Around the Mountain (Stage)

I saw one yellow leaf fall from a tree last night=2E I believe it was a precocious leaf=2E=2E=2E This week, you can listen to the broadcast of the Mountain Stage show I did with Jeff Daniels, Anje Duvekot, Duncan Sheik and The Cat Empire which was taped a couple weeks ago in Ann Arbor, MI=2E To find out if and when your public radio station carries the show (or to stream on the Internet) go to:

On Saturday night next weekend (August 4th) I've added a house concert in Grand Rapids to warm up for the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival (I'll be there August 9 and 10)=2E After Michigan, I'm off to Colorado, where I'll spend four days teaching at the Folks Festival (Lyons, CO) Song School=2E If you ever wanted to work on your songwriting, whether you are a beginner or professional, this is the place to do it=2E It's everything you could want: a beautiful setting and creative, laid-back people=2E I'll stay around to perform at Folks Fest which has a fantastic lineup this year=2E Then I'll be back in New England, where I have a concert in a barn (!) up in Wolfeboro NH=2E There's a dinner first, BYOB=2E Sounds very down-home, and a good way to celebrate summer's end=2E

Check out my fall schedule to get tickets ahead=2E I'm playing an evening coffeehouse in Franklin, MA on September 7th, which is part of a fund-raiser for RideFAR=2E I'm not riding 500 miles in 5 days like the awesome participants, but I will play my heart out at the mid-trip concert=2E 100% of money collected goes to fund AIDS resources=2E Fall festivals include the Boston Folk Festival in September and the Moab Festival in November=2E Also now's the time to book your place on the 100th Olivia Cruise, to the Mexican Riviera where I'll perform along with Lily Tomlin, Karen Williams and Julie Wolf=2E
