NY, Toronto, MA, WA, UT, CO, Philly, NJ, VA, WI, IL

April is all about cool quirky venues.  Coming up:  an arts center (CORNING NY), a bar in TORONTO (hugh's room).  Then there's a community hall (N. ANDOVER MA), a groovy liberal church (in SALT LAKE CITY), and 2 southwest COLORADO venues (with that road-side old-timey vibe).  Later in April, PHILLY (with Christine Havrilla, Pamela Means and Edie Carey), W. MILFORD NJ, and the Barns at Wolftrap in VIENNA VA (seriously, a barn!).  And at the end of the month a benefit concert in MADISON WI*,  an EVANSTON IL (CHICAGO) space called Space and an adorable little venue in FT ATKINSON WI called Cafe Carpe.  Meg Hutchinson will open shows in Corning NY and N. Andover MA, and then she sings harmonies with me, like some kind o' angel.  Links to all shows are included in this email under "events."

On April 15 I'll be joining friends Erin McKeown, Jen Todd, Julie Wolf, Zoe Lewis and others in SEATTLE WA at the Triple Door, to support Sweet Crude, a documentary film about Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

*MADISON:  Progressive Magazine is bringing together the Indigo Girls, Ani DiFranco, Dar Williams, Melissa Ferrick, me and others in MADISON WI for a celebration of their 100th anniversary!

In early May, I'll be in Vermont with Cheryl Wheeler, and in Cambridge at Club Passim.

Three things about the Passim show

1) special guest Annabelle Chvostek, formerly of the Wailin' Jenny's opens

2)  Elana Arian will be playing fiddle and singing with me.

3) wine and beer

After 50 years, legendary folk club Passim finally got a liquor license!  Don't miss my first Passim show with libations.

See you out there,

Catie
