Although tomorrow night's show in Brownfield ME is sold out, there are still a few tickets available for tonight (Friday August 7) in Londonderry NH at the Tupelo Music Hall, with special guest Lindsay Mac and accompanists Kevin Barry and Elana Arian.  It will be lots of fun... a little bit of hoe-down with your singer/songwriter.  I will have the new CD Hello Stranger at all upcoming shows. "Hello Stranger" was released in stores on Tuesday August 4th!  And it's available by mail order through Compass Records or via itunes (see links, below).  This new string-band CD features a duet with Mary Gauthier on the title track "Hello Stranger," plus 5 other cover songs (by Cat Stevens, Richard Thompson, Nina Simone and others) and 5 of my older songs (including Dad's Yard and Passing Through).  The band is Alison Brown, Stuart Duncan, George Marinelli, Todd Phillips, Darrell Scott and Kenny Malone.  Stellar playing by these legendary musicians infuses the entire CD with humor and intensity as they play off each other in loose, improvised arrangements.  Cover art is by best-selling humorist Suzy Becker.
