People Look Around

I just finished my shorty West Coast tour (above, in Eugene) and a couple gigs in NY and NJ.  I am still high from playing some of my favorite venues on the planet and from touring with Mark Erelli, who is insanely talented and winning audiences over wherever we go.  Our friend Jen Todd joined us for four dates, adding her amazing harmonies.  Mark and I wrote a song called "People Look Around," (also known as the Rain song or Truth song) about the impact of Hurricane Katrina and the need look at the larger truths revealed.  We recorded it at the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley and hope to have it up on this website soon.  I've added a few new pictures to the photos section, too.  This one (left) is Jen, Mark and me (before coffee).  This weekend I have a three-day run in Provincetown, MA  during "Women's Week," at the Post Office Cafe.  Then look for me in VT and Northampton MA the following weekend!

I also wanted to mention that anyone wanting to donate to help flood and mudslide victims in Guatemala can do so through  Oxfam America's Global Emergencies Fund.  My daughters were born in Guatemala, and I know a lot of you care about that part of the world as well.

Hope to see you soon,
Catie
